Setting DALI Alerts

  • Updated

DALI alerts are designed to help you stay abreast of changes in the broader Relative Strength landscape without having to monitor the report each day. Your DALI alerts will be sent via email and will also appear in the Notifications Center, which can be accessed by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner of the main toolbar.

To set DALI alerts, click the Set Alerts button in the top right corner of the DALI page.

On the DALI alerts page, you have the option of setting alerts on the default DALI view or your custom DALI view.

Additionally, there are three options for DALI alerts to receive that will help you gauge the Relative Strength of the asset classes and their subcategories in the DALI rankings.

First is the Asset Class Rank Change option, which will alert you to any changes in the rankings of the 6 main asset classes in the default DALI ranking or however many asset classes you've included in your custom view. The email alerts will show you when the change occurred, which asset classes have experienced a change, what their previous rank was, and what their new rank is.

The Asset Class Bogey Change alert option relates to the DALI cash bogey check, which compares a Nasdaq Dorsey Wright index for a each broad asset class against a cash proxy. When that Relative Strength chart is in Xs it indicates strength for that Asset Class relative to the benchmark and it passes the cash bogey check. When the chart is in Os, the Asset Class is weak relative to cash and it fails the cash bogey check. This alert can help you monitor the amount of risk within each asset class and may help alert you to weakness in an asset class before the change is reflected in the actual DALI rankings.

The last alert option is the Asset Emphasis Change alert, which helps you monitor changes in the rankings of the subcategories underlying each asset class. Similar to the asset class alerts, these alerts will show you when the change occurred, which subcategories have experienced a change, what their previous rank was, and what their new rank is.
